Proactively took charge of design and execution
One of my core responsibilities at Tru is creating banners across multiple digital platforms, including Shopify, the Customer Portal, Uris, and the TruSuite Launcher.

When designing banners, I focus on maintaining brand consistency while clearly communicating the banner’s purpose—whether promotional, informational, announcements, or competitions. I also ensure every design is responsive and optimized for different screen sizes and platforms.

Using Gotham, the primary brand typeface, I created eye-catching typography that delivers strong visual impact while maintaining brand consistency.

For product imagery, I focused on highlighting key functional features. For example, in the case of the T-Marker, I emphasized the lens area used for iPad scanning by incorporating lighting effects, helping communicate the product’s technology and purpose in a visually engaging way.
My Design Process
1. Reviewing the Creative Brief
I begin by carefully reviewing the creative brief provided by the PM, Events, or Sales teams. This helps me fully understand the campaign objectives, target audience, messaging priorities, and overall purpose of the banner.
2. Research & Concept Development
Once the goals are clear, I explore competitor examples and gather inspiration from various digital platforms. This research phase helps me identify effective visual trends and generate ideas for layouts and messaging.
3. Initial Layout Creation
Next, I organize all design assets and copy, then begin developing the first layout concepts. During this stage, I often suggest alternative copy ideas or adjustments to improve clarity, engagement, and overall effectiveness.
4. Visual Enhancement
After finalizing the core layout direction, I create additional supporting assets such as custom backgrounds, graphics, lighting effects, and other visual elements that strengthen the overall design.
5. Version Exploration & Collaboration
I typically produce at least two design variations for each banner. These options are then reviewed with managers and stakeholders to determine the strongest creative direction and ensure alignment with business goals.
6. Responsive Adaptation
Once the final concept is approved, I adapt the design for other platforms and screen sizes. This ensures consistency and usability across all digital touchpoints.
promotional banner | official website
Most banners are created for TruAbutment.com, the official Shopify website. To align with the website’s dark-mode aesthetic, I design banners that incorporate product imagery and purpose-driven layouts, often using gradients to create depth, contrast, and a modern visual feel. For promotional campaigns such as Black Friday, I focus on creating eye-catching graphics that immediately capture attention. By incorporating the brand’s signature colors, I ensure the banners are both visually striking and easily memorable, helping strengthen brand recognition while driving engagement.

customer portal banner
The Customer Portal primarily serves dental lab users, so I create banners tailored specifically to that audience, including exclusive promotions designed for dental labs.Additionally, when events feature related products or multiple offerings are combined into a single campaign, I adapt and vary the banner designs accordingly to clearly communicate the message while keeping the visuals engaging and relevant.
uris banner
URIS is TruAbutment’s implant-focused brand, and the website was designed to promote new products, provide product information, and encourage purchases. In alignment with these goals, I created banners that effectively highlight key products and campaigns while guiding users to the Customer Portal, where purchases are completed.Since URIS has a distinct brand identity separate from Tru, the banners were also designed to reflect its unique visual language, ensuring consistency and a stronger brand presence.
